Images add value to our learning materials and we are committed to providing a digital image where possible. The Royal College of Surgeons of England Learning make all reasonable efforts to ensure copyright holders’ interests are respected and permission sought where it is appropriate and feasible to do so.

However, we recognise that from time to time material published online may be in breach of copyright laws. In the event that you are the owner of the copyright in any of the images on our virtual learning environment and you do not consent to our use of your material, please contact us by email at education@rcseng.ac.uk.

We will need the following information from you:

  • your name
  • your contact details
  • a description of the content
  • the reason for your concern.

You may be asked to provide further information and/or supporting statements in relation to the content or your concern.

In the first instance, we contact you to acknowledge receipt of your complaint. Following assessment, and should the concern be validated, we will add a credit to the material in accordance with the rights-holder’s wishes, or we will ensure the material is permanently removed from our virtual learning environment as appropriate.
